Jawahar Muniyandi - CEO

Jawahar Muniyandi (Jawa) is a Civil Engineer specialized in Construction and Structural Engineering. He has 15 years of experience and a former Structural and Construction Engineer of Larsen and Toubro Ltd (www.lntecc.com). He has been a project manager with IBM helping manage software development projects. He is presently a builder engaged in house construction and an investor holding residential portfolio. He possesses the experience of construction of high rise structures, Office Buildings, Thermal Power plants, Cooling Towers, Bridges and Irrigation Canals. He was a manufacturer of pre-cast concrete products such as Concrete blocks. He has helped NGOs in India to build affordable houses using cost-effective building materials and technology. He has a passion for affordable housing.

Reuel Heyden – Director of Marketing

With a background in association and hospitality management, marketing, public relations and advertising, Reuel Heyden serves as Director of Marketing and a consultant to Isha Homes. He has worked for the Hilton hotels at the Hilton Columbia, a Lodgian Hotel, working extensively with countless meeting planners, conferences, and the hotel’s banquet operations giving him a broad scope of the hospitality field. He has also worked with a number of national and international associations, such as the DMC Network, Euromic, and the Association for Destination Management Executives. Reuel currently serves as Treasurer of the NC Public Relations Society of America and is a member of the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International, American Advertising Federation, Ethical Corporation, Electric Frontier Federation and is recognized by the prestigious Cambridge Who’s Who.

Suma Rau – Project Manager

Suma was working in the banking industry for 3 years before joining Isha Homes as a Project Manager. She wears multiple hats of being a Closing Coordinator for loans as well as lending a hand in Equity Relations. She has had varied work experiences in different fields. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, and published papers to her credit while working at Indian Council of Medical Research in the Healthcare Industry. She worked as an Executive in a leading newspaper publication, handling marketing and advertising. She has completed an Associate in Computer Information systems and currently pursuing a MBA and PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

Michelle McGinnis – Office Manager

Michelle directs all office operations, documentation, and bookkeeping. A QuickBooks expert, she handles all Isha Homes accounts for projects, developments, and investments. She fills the role of Property Manager for a number of Isha Homes residential properties, and handles all purchasing. She has 4 years working with the University of Calgary in Event Coordination as well as Head of Course Timetables and Schedules.
